About the Department
The Department of Mechanical Engineering at ATME College of Engineering offers a four-year BE programme affiliated to VTU, Belagavi. The department combines a strong theoretical foundation with extensive lab work, projects and industry interaction to prepare graduates who are ready for the workplace and for higher studies.

Ever since its inception, the primary goal of the department has been to train students with high-quality education. The department is committed to preparing the best graduates by imparting holistic teaching-learning methods. The Department of Mechanical Engineering aims to disseminate knowledge and technology through quality teaching, research and its application in mechanical and allied disciplines. The department houses dedicated faculty with rich educational backgrounds and strives to inculcate young graduates with leadership, management and technical skills. Faculty encourage students to take up internships, industrial visits, workshops and seminars, and to participate in various curricular and co-curricular development activities. The department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories that are constantly upgraded with changes in technology. With this, I welcome you all to the Mechanical Engineering Department.
