About the Department
The department of Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) was established in the year 2021 with intake of 60 students. The Department of AIML at ATMECE is dedicated to impart constructive and quality technical education with high standards at undergraduate level.
The department focuses on building strong theoretical foundations along with practical skills in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, enabling students to develop solutions to real-world and societal challenges. Supported by experienced and committed faculty, the department nurtures innovation, critical thinking, and professional competence among students.
The department is well equipped with modern computing facilities and advanced laboratories to meet current academic and industry requirements. The program strongly emphasizes experiential learning through hands-on laboratory sessions, project-based learning, research activities, and industry internships. These opportunities provide students with practical exposure and prepare them for successful global careers in emerging technologies.
Reflecting the department's academic excellence, two of our students secured the 3rd and 4th ranks in VTU in the academic year 2024–25.
