The FDP on Real-Time Digital Signal Processing and Generative AI in Multimodal Medical Imaging is planned to give VTU and other faculty members a comprehensive understanding of advanced DSP and AI concepts with applications in healthcare, aligning with curriculum requirements and supporting teaching, research and interdisciplinary work.

The Department of Civil Engineering proudly presents “DATUM 2K25”, a premier state-level technical fest organized annually since 2017. Over the years, DATUM has evolved into a vibrant platform that celebrates innovation, knowledge sharing, and the spirit of healthy competition among budding Civil Engineering Students.

The IEEE Mini Project Symposium 2025 is a platform for students to showcase their innovative mini projects, gain valuable feedback from experts, and network with fellow innovators. The event aims to promote creativity, technical skills, and research-oriented thinking among young engineers.

ATME College of Engineering will be organizing the Orientation Programme 2025 on 27th September 2025 for the newly admitted students of the 2025–29 batch. An orientation programme plays a vital role in shaping the journey of engineering students as they step into college life. It helps students & Parents to familiarize them with the campus, institutional rules and regulations, as well as the academic guidelines laid down by VTU. It also creates awareness ensuring students begin their journey with clarity and discipline. They also provide an opportunity to interact with faculty, peers, and mentors, fostering a sense of belonging and community.

This FDP offers a unique platform for faculty to bridge the gap between traditional engineering and emerging machine learning technologies. With the growing role of AI in fields like Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical & Electronics, the program equips participants with both foundational and advanced machine learning knowledge for solving real-world engineering problems. It includes theoretical concepts and hands-on sessions tailored to core engineering applications.

This Three-Day Faculty Development Program (FDP) focuses on cybersecurity awareness and the role of emerging technologies—Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Quantum Computing—in securing social media and banking applications. The program will feature expert-led sessions, hands-on discussions, and case studies to equip participants with advanced knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and secure system implementations. By bridging theoretical concepts with practical applications, this FDP aims to empower educators and researchers to integrate these cutting-edge technologies into academia and industry solutions.

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 emphasizes integrating Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) into STEM, engineering, and technical education. It promotes multidisciplinary learning, drawing from India’s heritage in science, mathematics, architecture, metallurgy, and sustainability. Engineering & Technical Institutions are incorporating Vedic mathematics, Ayurveda-based biotechnology, and temple architecture into curricula. NEP also encourages research in Sanskrit texts, indigenous technologies, and traditional craftsmanship to foster innovation. By blending modern advancements with India’s intellectual traditions, this approach strengthens STEM education, ensuring a globally competitive, culturally rooted learning ecosystem.

The National Board for Quality Promotion (NBQP) is a key board under the Quality Council of India (QCI), focusing on elevating quality standards across industries and services in India. Through initiatives like the Quality Bharat Mission and State Quality Promotion Activities, NBQP aims to embed a culture of quality in everyday processes, impacting over 1.4 billion people. QCI, an autonomous body under the Government of India, collaborates with industry associations to drive excellence in various sectors, including education, manufacturing, and services.
