ATME College of Engineering signs MOU with KGTTI, Mysuru
This Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter referred to as “MOU”) is made and entered into by and between the ATME College of Engineering (ATMECE), whose address is 13 km stone, Mysuru – Kanakapura Road, Mysuru-570028, Karnataka (hereinafter referred to as “First Party”), and the Karnataka German Technical Training Institute (KGTTI), Mysuru 570006, Karnataka (hereinafter referred to as “Second Party”). Period of Validity of MOU is two Years from the date of MOU (16th July 2024).
Objective
The Overall Objective of KGTTI is to Provide Skill Development Advanced Technology Hands-on Training to enhance Employment Opportunities.
- To make students competent enough to take on real time application work in the field of Industrial Automation that involves PLC, SCADA & Drives. This is intended to support students for job opportunities and to reduce the gap between Industries and Engineering.
- The purpose of this agreement is with reference to defining the areas of Co-operation benefiting both ATME College of Engineering and KGTTI.
Outcomes
- Provides internship opportunities for student community.
- Students will enhance the skill set in the relevant field
ATME College of Engineering Signs MOU with GTTC, Mysuru
The Department of Mechanical Engineering, ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru and GTTC, Mysuru signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). Dr. A K Murthy, Principal, ATMECE, and Mr. Obaiah O, Unit Head, GTTC, signed the MOU. The MOU is intended to bridge the skill gap existing between Institution and Industry. GTTC is a Govt. of Karnataka society recognized as a Scientific and Research Organization by the Government of India. Period of Validity of MOU is three Years from the date of MOU (22nd October 2023).
Objectives:
- Industry & Institution interaction to an insight into the talent developments / requirement of the industries to mould the students to meet tomorrow’s challenge.
- To provide Industrial Training & Exposure to students & faculties to build confidence to have smooth transmission from academic to working career
- Industrial visit to increase the knowledge level of students
- Arrangements of joint seminars from industrial professionals to share their knowledge with students & faculties.
- Organizing of joint meetings of industrial professionals with faculties to discuss on various topics & curriculum to incorporate requirements of present-day industries.
- To provide support for the execution of project work to the students in the latest development / requirement of industries.
- Identifying & organizing need-based training to students & faculties.
- To Co-ordinate with industries for placement of students.
Outcomes:
- More than 180 students from the department have attended an “A Day @ GTTC” workshop which provided an exposure to different manufacturing aspects.
- 2 Batches of 4 students each have carried out their final year project work at GTTC, Mysuru.
- 13 students from the department have undergone Internship Training at GTTC, Mysuru.
- 4 students from the department have undergone a short-term training program on AUTOCAD at GTTC, Mysuru.
ATMECE Signs MOU with Hindustan Spring Manufacturing Company, Mysuru
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is made between the ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru and Hindustan Spring Manufacturing Company, Mysuru. Period of Validity of MOU is two Years from the date of MOU (9th September 2023).
Objectives:
- To promote interaction between ATME College of Engineering and Hindustan Spring Manufacturing Company in mutually beneficial areas.
- To provide best quality education to students through various activities such as technical training, Internship program and Industrial visits for students.
- Training will cover basic manufacturing process in spring manufacturing.
Outcomes:
- Students will expand and refine their expertise in the relevant field.
- Students will develop the ability to design and manufacture various types of springs, including compression, tension, and torsion springs, using appropriate tools and techniques.
ATMECE Signs MOU with Lakhsmi Spring and Pressing, Mysuru
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is made between the ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru and Lakhsmi Spring and Pressing, Mysuru. Period of Validity of MOU is two Years from the date of MOU (9th September 2023).
Objectives:
- To provide best quality education to students through various activities such as technical training, non-technical events, Internship program and Industrial visits for students.
- Training will cover basic manufacturing process.
Outcomes:
- Students will learn to troubleshoot and optimize spring performance, ensuring the components meet specific mechanical and operational requirements.
- Students will develop the ability to design and manufacture various types of springs, including compression, tension, and torsion springs, using appropriate tools and techniques.
ATMECE Signs MOU with Universal Automobiles and Dairy Products, Mysuru
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is made between the ATME College of Engineering, Mysuru and Universal Automobiles and Dairy Products, Mysuru. Period of Validity of MOU is two Years from the date of MOU (9th September 2023).
Objectives:
- To foster collaboration between ATME College of Engineering and Universal Automobiles and Dairy Products for mutual growth and benefit.
- To provide best quality education to students through various activities such as technical training, non-technical events, Internship program and Industrial visits for students.
Outcomes:
- Students will gain hands-on exposure to real-world processes in the automotive and dairy sectors, enhancing their practical knowledge and technical skills.
- Students will build professional competencies and networks, preparing them for career opportunities in manufacturing, quality control, and product innovation within these industries.
