On September 30th 2023, the ATMECE celebrated Teachers’ Day and Engineer’s Day jointly. The event was organized by the Student Affair’s office and was held in the College Auditorium..
The program was inaugurated by Mr. L Arun Kumar, chairman ATME Trust. Other members of management were also present.
On this occasion, the management congratulated and felicitated the PhD holders in the past academic year. Dr. Vinod Kumar P from EEE dept, Dr. Sunitha Patel from CSE dept, Dr.Pavithra A C and Dr.Shalini Hanok from ECE dept, Dr. Husna Zohara from AI & ML dept, Dr. Shashi Ranjan were felicitated.
Later, considering the academic performance of the staff’s various awards like Best Teacher, Best Technical staff, Best supporting staff was announced.

The next speaker was Dr. Syed Shakheeb Ur Rahman the one who spoke about the contributions of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan and Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, two of the greatest teachers and engineers India has ever produced.

ATME College of Engineering, Bannur road Mysuru was celebrated Teacher’s Day and Engineer’s day-2022 at the college auditorium.
The program was inaugurated by Chief Guest Sri, Sudhanva, Founder & CEO Excel Soft Technologies Pvt.Ltd, Mysuru by lighting the lamp.
The Management of ATME felicitated Sri, Sudhanva, Founder & CEO Excel Soft Technologies Pvt.Ltd, Mysuru as “ENGINEER PAR EXCELLENCE” award for his remarkable contribution to the society in the field of Engineering and Industry.
While addressing the gathering Sri, D.Sudhanva asked the faculty fraternity that, “Faculty can implement effective teaching methodologies to the students with the help of modern technologies in accordance with the changing environment. Further, he informed that, they should not feel that getting an engineering degree is just to get a job, instead focus on creating enough job opportunities as entrepreneurs themselves, in this background the Government has implemented many schemes” he added.
On the same occasion Dr. Kirankumar (Dept of Chemistry) Prof. Shreeshayana (Dept.of E & E) and Prof.Raghuram (Dept.of CSE) was honoured with “BEST TEACHER AWARD” for their outstanding service in the field of education and other co-curricular activities. Non-Teaching staff Mr. Rajeeva and Mr.Nadeesha K N also awarded “BEST SUPPORTIVE STAFF” for their outstanding service to the institution.
On this occasion Dr.Nasreen Fathima, Dr.Anuradha, Dr.Ravichandran, Dr.Bhagya P, Dr syeda Ummera, Dr Ramamurthy and Dr Rajeswari were felicitated for obtaining Doctoral Degrees (PhD) in their respective field of specialization.
Sri L. Arun kumar Chairman ATME College of Engineering during his presidential remarks he expressed that “Teaching is a Nobel service to the mankind and should not be viewed as a profession and he further opined that teacher plays a vital role in moulding the society. Any awards increase the responsibility on them, teachers have a major responsibility to impart technical skill & education according to the changing to the technology especially as per the expectation of students, teachers should continuously develop their skills accordingly.
Dr.Shakeeb-Ur-Rahman Executive Council Member VTU Belagavi addressed the gathering and expressed their best wishes for the Teacher’s and Engineers.

ATME College of Engineering, 13th kilometer Mysuru- kanakapura- Banglore Road, recently celebrated the “Teachers Day and Engineering Day” at the college auditorium. Dignitaries inaugurated the function by lighting the lamp. The ATME Management recognized and honored several members for their outstanding services in the field of Education and Engineering, as part of “Teachers’ day and Engineers’ day”.
“Teacher Extraordinaire” and “Engineer par Excellence” awards were conferred on this occasion; the awards were given away by recognizing and considering their outstanding contributions to the society in the field of Education and Engineering. The “Teacher Extraordinaire” award for the year 2019-2020 was awarded to Mr. M L Ravishankar, Principal, Shastri PU College, Hunsur. The “Engineer par Excellence” award for the year 2019-2020 was awarded to Mr. Manohar M. Bevinamara, Managing Director, CESCOM. Mysore.
Every year the management of ATME College of engineering confers the Best teachers award for the best performing faculty in the institution, the Best teacher award for the faculties serving in various departments of the college were selected based on various criteria and by having 3600 appraisal system & appraisal with the management. Mr.Kiran B of computer Science department & Mr. Anil Kumar B.H of Computer Science Department, and Kumari Anupama shetter from Electronics & Communication Department were awarded “Best Teacher” award for the academic year 2019-20.
Mr.Nagappa T N of Computer Science and Engineering Department and Mr.Manju of Mechanical Engineering Department, were awarded ‘’Best employees’’ of the year.
On this occasion the ‘’Teacher Extraordinaire’’ awardee Mr. M L Ravishankar opined that the knowledge has no boundaries, it exist both in physical and spiritual form as the wings of the birds. But the education that we are currently practicing is limited to use of physical subjects. Further he said that the newly implemented National Education Policy is focused on providing both types of education that is required to the society.
The “Engineer par Excellence” awardee Mr. Manaohar M.Bevinamara addressed the gathering and expressed that the service and contribution of the ‘’Engineers and Teachers’’ in the development of the country is immense and ATME College of Engineering is recognizing and honoring such distinguished personalities who have contributed to the betterment of society is appreciable.
The ‘’chief guest’’ Mr. D. Sathish Kumar, Vice President, Operations – Rane Madras Limited,Mysuru addressed the students and called to develop good attitude and need to develop their skills according to the current need of the industry. Further he opined that ATME College of Engineering has set the right ambience with good infrastructure and quality faculties to provide current educational requirements to the students.
Dr Sayed shakkeb ur rehaman, the Guest of Honor insisted the phD awardees to continue with their research work and not to stop at this juncture.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. L Arun Kumar, Honorable Chairman ATME said that, the research work of the faculties should be continuous and they should share their experience and information with their colleagues and develop their passion for supporting their research work. He said that the covid19 has resulted in many hardships, which led to many challenges and has enhanced self confidence in our life. At the same time he congratulated all those who received awards.
The faculties who were conferred with doctoral degrees were also felicitated on this occasion. The PhD awardees who were felicitated on the occasion are Dr.prathiba M, Electronics and Communication engineering Department, Dr.Chethan, Dr.Mohan Kumar, and Dr. Mohammed Nadeem, Mechanical Engineering Department, Dr. Kiran kumar, of Physics and Dr. Madhusudhan, Mathematics Department.

The program commenced with welcome address by Dr. L Basavaraj, Principal ATMECE. The program concluded with vote of thanks by Dr.Rathnakar.G, Dean Student affairs & program coordinator. Ms Keerthana, Computer science & Engineering Department rendered invocation, Mrs. Bharathi B, Civil Engineering Department and Mr.Abhilash, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department executed the program as master of ceremony.

Teacher’s Day and Engineer’s day-2019 was celebrated at ATMECE. The program was conducted at the college auditorium.
Karnataka State Open University Vice-Chancellor Dr. Vidyashankar S was the chief guest of the program and Prof. Y R Ramesh, Vice-Principal, Sadvidya Composite PU College, Mysuru was the Guest of Honor.
The Chief Guest Dr. Vidyashankar S, during his address to the staff members emphasized that there is a greater responsibility and the new challenges that the Teaching fraternity need to take up in shaping the future of the students. He expressed that An Able Teacher is The Savior of the Nation and the role of Parents and Teachers play a crucial role in contributing to the better tomorrow while addressing the Teachers. He thanked The Management and Principal of ATMECE for inviting him on the occasion.
Prof. Y R Ramesh, the Guest of Honor, in his speech expressed that mere information is not the knowledge. Further he stressed upon the responsibility of the Teachers in instilling the confidence and knowledge in students for making them better human beings.
To encourage the Staff members, the Management of ATMECE organizes this program during which the faculty members who are awarded the PhD degree during the last academic year are felicitated and Best Teacher award to three faculty members, one best Non-Teaching Faculty award also one best supporting staff award chosen by the Management and Principal are given.

“Felicitation for Ph.D digree” Current year Dr. Manjunatha H S, Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering Department was felicitated for having conferred with PhD degree from VTU, Belgaum.

“Best Teachers Award” Mr. Vinod Kumar P of EEE Department, Department, Mrs. Sneha N P of CSE Department and Dr. Yathisha L of EC were awarded as the Best Teachers of the year.

Mr. Pradeep Kumar of Mechanical Engineering Department was awarded the best Non-Teaching Faculty and Mr. Ravi A R, of the Placement department was given the best Supporting staff award. Recipients of the award were given a cash Prize of Rs. 5000/- each. The Best Teachers are also given a Development fund of Rs. 15,000/- each.
Sri L Arun Kumar, Chairman ATMECE, presided the function, in his presidential address he thanked both the Guests for their presence. The awards have increased the responsibility of the awardees and advised them to perform even better. Roles and responsibilities of the Teachers has been increased in adopting different teaching methods and techniques in their services to tackle the new generation student’s needs.

Invocation by Druva Natesh of 7th sem Mech., Ashritha of 7th sem Civil delivered the welcome speech and Nandeesh of 7th sem civil rendered the vote of thanks. The program was anchored by Miss. Keerthana of CSE Department.

Teacher’s Day and Engineer’s day of the year 2018 was celebrated at ATMECE on 28-08-2018. The program was conducted 4pm onwards at the college auditorium. To encourage the Staff members, the Management of ATMECE organizes this program during which faculty members who are awarded PhD during the last academic year are felicitated and Best Teacher award is also given to three faculty members chosen by the Management and Principal. To mark the Engineer’s day any one eminent Engineer from the Society is invited and felicitated.
Prof. B. G. Sangameshwara, Vice-Chancellor, JSS S&T University, Mysuru was the Chief Guest of the function and Mr. Arun Kumar L, Chairman, ATMECE presided over the function. Dr. Syed Shakeeb-Ur-Rehman, former Principal SJCE, Mysuru, Mr. K. Shivashankar, Secretary, ATMECE, Mysuru, Mr. R. Veeresh, Treasurer, ATMECE were the Guests of Honor.
The program started with the invocation by Miss Keerthana, Asst. Prof., CS&E dept. Principal Dr. Basavaraj L welcomed the guests and gathering. The function was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the Dignitaries.
Prof. B. G. Sangameshwara in his address appreciated the efforts of management in encouraging the faculty members and infrastructure provided also advised faculty members to utilize the facilities and take up the research work seriously.This was followed by the Felicitation to Prof. B G Sangameshwara who was also the eminent Engineer whose contributions to the society is immense.
Dr. Srinivasa K, Associate professor, Dept. Mech. Engg. And Dr. YathishaL, Associate Professor, Dept. of EC are felicitated for completing PhD in the academic year 2017-18.
Later, the names of the Best Teacher award winners were announced by the President and Chief guest. Mr. Thejkumar J, Asst. Prof., Dept. of Mech. Engg., Mr. Prajwalsimha S N, Asst. Prof., Dept of EC and Mr. Srivatsa H U, Asst. Prof. Dept of civil Engg. was declared the winners of the award. They were felicitated by the Dignitaries. After that the awardee expressed their gratitude and thanked Management for the recognition and encouragement.
Honorable Chairman in his Presidential remarks congratulated the achievers and winners of best teacher award and also advised all the faculty members to emulate them. He has urged everyone to keep updating their knowledge through research work and work hard and grow with the Institution.
Mr. Thejkumar J anchored the program and Mr. Devaraju M R, Associate Professor, Dept. of Mech. Engg. rendered the Vote of Thanks. Later a High Tea was arranged for everyone.

Management of ATME College of Engineering is happy to announce that, from AY 2016-17 ATMECE will be conferring “Best Teacher” awards to recognize and value excellence, consistency and high level of teaching in our College. The ATME Best Teacher for teaching excellence aims to celebrate, teaching as the noblest profession by identifying teachers who are engaging their students in innovative and pathbreaking ways to ignite their potential. This Award aims to honour the teachers who have demonstrated excellence in teaching different subjects, shown outstanding contribution to learners with special needs and have served their communities through teaching even outside formal classrooms.
- The award shall be made annually.
- The number of awards to be made in any year shall be up to 3, common for all disciplines of Engineering.
- All the faculty members currently working in ATME College of Engineering are eligible for this award.
However, Principal & HODs are excluded for this award
