A Report on Awareness Program on Anti-Sexual Harassment Act
Women’s Safety in the Workplace (CICC) 

As a part of the Student Induction Program 2025-26, an **Awareness Program on the Anti-Sexual Harassment Act and Women’s Safety in the Workplace was organized for the enginee ,ing students on 18th/October 2025** in the College Auditorium.

The awareness session was conducted by Mrs. Geetha, Advocate, Mysuru. She enlightened the students about the legal provisions under the **Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act**, emphasizing the importance of creating a safe and respectfulænvironment in educational institutionsand workplaces. She also discussed the mechanisms available for reporting and addressing grievances related to harassment and shared practical tips for ensuring personal safety and professional conduct.
