GATE qualified with 87.04 percentile in 2004 and received GATE Scholarship during 2004 to 2006 for PG Program at NITK, Surathkal.

Roles and Responsibilities: Institute Level

1.
Set up the Research Centre in SJEC in 2017.
2.
As HoD of St. Joseph Engineering College, student Ms. Mahima Rao obtained the 1st Rank in VTU with 13 Gold Medals.
3.
Carried out CSR-GHRDC Survey of the Sahyadri College and obtained 19th ranking in country of Best Engineering Colleges and 6th Ranking in State.
4.
Took up the entire responsibility of NAAC work at SCEM. Filled up the QnMs and QlMs of different Criteria and prepared the Self Study Report (SSR).
5.
Editor of College Newsletter, 3 times.
6.
During Lockdown took the responsibility of initiating online video recording for Faculty which was highly useful and successful. Aided in preparing the Academic Statute of the College.
7.
Played a major role in obtaining Autonomous Status for SCEM. Besides this, took the responsibility of Time Table preparation, Selection of Open Electives, Calculation of workload, maintenance of all Files required by Statutory Authorities at College Level etc.
8.
Worked Extensively for a duration of 1.5 years, towards obtaining NAAC accreditation and successfully obtained it for the very 1st Cycle of Accreditation at BIT.

Roles and Responsibilities: Department Level

1.
Headed the Department of Civil Engineering, SJEC from January 2015 to February 2019.
2.
Set up 3 major Laboratories in the Department. Taken up responsibility of IEI membership of SJEC and all the other members. Chairperson of the Library advisory committee of SJEC, for the year 2016-2017 and 2017-2018.
3.
Headed the Department of Civil Engineering of Sahyadri College from May 2019 to May 2020 and from May 2020 till August 2022 the Dean – Academic of the College.
